Alvaláxia Shopping Center

Successful Property Management and commercial dynamization

Galaxyvalor has transformed this Asset image since it assumed the Asset management and leasing in february 2016.

Through the commercial dynamization and a skilful Property and Asset management the image of the Asset was improved with the entrance of new retailers and the realization of revitalization works in the common areas, thus increasing the annual rent roll and decreasing the operating costs, with the consequent increase of profitability for the Ownership.

In this period retailers such as Burger King (550 sqm), Pet Outlet (650 sqm), O Seu Bitoque (80 sqm), Well's (50 sqm), Sunlight Lounge solarium (400 sqm) Bifanamaria (30 sqm) and Imprimir com Arte (100 sqm) and Imprimir com Arte (100 sqm) opened a store in the Shopping Center. In total, and since Galaxyvalor assumed the Shopping management and leasing, in an Asset where no store opened since 2010, Galaxyvalor placed 7 National and International retailers making a total of 1.840 sqm GLA of new leases, which account for 10% of the total GLA. Galaxyvalor also negotiated with Lidl the total renovation of the supermarket image in Alvaláxa. Given this new commercial dynamics in Alvaláxia, the annual number of visitors increased by 15% in the last two years.

In the common areas of Alvaláxia works were done to renew completely the public WC, the floor in the entrance of the Shopping was repaired, all the Shopping lightning was renewed and relplaced by LED lights, between other works that contributed for the new better perception clients have nowadays when entering the Shopping.
